![]() I am the parent to 3 wonderful children, Bryan 18, Dalton
15 and Desiree13. I have worked for the same company for 24 years. During my free time, I enjoy dirt bike/quad riding with
my kids, camping, jeeping, bowling and any outdoor activities.
In Junior High and High School I was involved in volleyball and gymnastics. I so have a background in tumbling. My daughter began cheering in 2002 for Arlington Youth Cheerleading (AYC), I became very interested in learning more about it. In 2003 I joined AYC as an Assistant Coach for my daughters squad and in the years 2004 to 2006, I was the head coach of my daughters squad. In 2006 my AYC recreational squad continued on to compete in All Star competitions. We did very well for our first year of All Star competing. For the past 3 years I have also held the position of President for AYC. In 2006, I received my certification for stunting levels 1-4. I am currently a member of USASF. I have my credentials for all levels 1-5, tosses, stunting, and tumbling. I have a criminal background check and I am current on my yearly clock hours. The 2007-08 season, I joined Cheerstarz Xtreme as an Assistant Coach. I have learned a lot from Cheerstarz and will continue to learn as years to come. I enjoy working with kids and watching them grow and advance in cheer. The most rewarding feeling is watching them compete, not only the squads I coach but other squads as well as they all give something we can learn from. I believe that there is a time for fun during cheer practice and a time for serious work to make a strong squad. I am an easy going person but at the same time, I like structure in practices. I am looking forward to coaching and growing as a coach with Lisa Ogden in her new venture.
