WOW FUZION IGNITE MELTED THE ROADS OF LAKE STEVENS!!!!!

WITH GALAXY CHEER!!!!!!

We have just begun to start the year with a beautiful winning trophy from Aqua Fest. Thanks to the help of our friends and soon to be great competitors Galaxy Cheer!! They took time out of their busy schedules to come help us mold the "NEW" Gym into a great season. We enjoyed having them with us and supporting us in our new adventure in the Cheer World. Looking forward to more times like this. Here is a little note from Ronda herself on their web page stating that it doesn't matter if you compete on the floor with each other there are still times to bond with other cheer teams and make new friends. Looking forward to seeing you everywhere. Thanks again GC!!

GC team members partnered with the fledgling Fusion Ignite All-Stars in an ultimate show of sportsmanship and support for the 2008 Aquafest parade!!

Both GC and Fusion together were a force to be reckoned with this past weekend as they took to the streets of the beautiful Lake Stevens representing a collaborated effort at showing the spirit of cheer and what comraderie can and should be between programs as we all seek to do the same thing....just in different colors and with different names --- building cheer in Washington and bringing the spirit and fun to as many as possible!

25+ GC team members came out and represented themselves, the GC home community, their teammates, family, friends, and supported the Fusion Ignite All-Stars in their first Aquafest parade!!

The epitome of hardwork, dedication, and determination, the "derby days team" put together the stunt routine in only 2 hours time but you would never have known it! Kick double baskets, tumbling, and stunt sequences, from youngest to oldest, GC left no stone unturned as they helped bring to life the streets of Lake Stevens! Comments were made left and right as they stunted, tumbled and chanted their way down the parade route!

For their first time there, GC and Fusion together proudly took the FIRST PLACE Award for the parade!! The spirit, energy, and pride showed in every way! GC and Fusion together brought another level of sunshine and heat to what was a fun and beautiful day! And more than that, they proved that "competing" programs can and should leave it where it belongs -- on the competition floor -- as they brought to life the fun and energy of being an All-Star cheerleader....regardless the name or colors!!

We are very proud of all the members that gave their time and energy to help support Fusion and "rock the streets of Lake Stevens!" Way to represent and to help a fellow program! If that is any indication of what's to come, this year is going to be ON FIRE!! 

Way to go GALAXY -- the future's so bright, we gotta wear shades!! GO GC!!

And CONGRATULATIONS FUSION....you are on your way!! We are proud of you!
